FloQ

The shared inbox for a small team

An address like info@ or orders@ read by several people works until two of them answer, or nobody does. The free alternatives do not show who is replying, and the paid ones cost from 14 to 105 dollars per user. FloQ puts them together with chat and 2FA codes.

In short

  • Every message shows who has read it and who is replying, so nobody answers twice.
  • Team mailboxes and personal ones in the same app, for Microsoft 365, Gmail and IMAP.
  • A chat in the same app, tied to the mail with “Discuss with the team”.

Where FloQ is different

  • Mail, chat and 2FA codes in one app: the others cover only one of the three.
  • Servers in the European Union and a separate encryption key for each team.
  • Apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, Linux and Android, with notifications only for what concerns you.

Where the others are stronger

  • Missive and Front have mail assignment, automatic rules, statistics and built-in AI.
  • Front and Help Scout are built for structured customer support, with more tools for those handling many tickets.
  • They have years of polish and thousands of companies using them.

When FloQ fits

For a small team that shares a few mailboxes and wants to discuss them in chat without juggling three tools. If you handle many tickets a day and need assignments, rules and statistics, a support app like Front or Help Scout is a better fit.

Frequently asked questions

Does FloQ work with my Gmail or Microsoft 365 mailbox?

Yes: connect it with a Google or Microsoft sign-in, or any IMAP mailbox. Gmail mailboxes are not available to AI assistants.

Can I assign a mail to a person?

FloQ has no assignment: use “Discuss with the team”, which brings the mail into a chat where you agree on who answers.

Who sees my personal mailboxes?

Only you: personal mailboxes stay invisible to the team.
